Did Hitchcock's relationships and ideologies influence his films? Use two examples to support your answer.
Consider the following when answering this question:
* What were some of Hitchcock's key thoughts and ideas? How did these spill out into his film making?
* Think about the different relationships that Hitchcock had with his 'leading ladies' during the filming of the movies. Did his treatment of them say more about his behaviour or about theirs?
* What was his relationship with his own family like? Do you think this impacted the film making process in any way?
